At Acorn Community Bank, we believe banking should be about more than just savings and loans. It should be about people, community and creating positive change that supports all. That’s why we’re excited to once again support Comic Relief with a fun-filled fundraising event that brings our members, colleagues, and local community together for a great cause. On 19th March 2026, we invite everyone to join us for a morning of laughter, community spirit, and fundraising as we celebrate Comic Relief in true Acorn Style.
A day of Fun for a great cause
This year’s event promises something for everyone, with activities designed to bring smiles while raising funds for comic relief. To make this event fun and engaging we will have the following
- Cakes and Sweets – Indulge in a delicious selection of homemade cakes and sweet treats, all donated and prepared by our team and supporters.
- Pre-loved Bits & Bobs – Browse a variety of pre-loved treasures, from clothing to unique finds. It’s a great way to support sustainability while contributing to a great cause.
- Costume Party – Comic relief wouldn’t be complete without a bit of silliness! Come dressed in your favourite fun outfit and join the celebrations.
Every purchase, donation and contribution made during the event will go directly to the Comic Relief, helping support projects that tackle poverty and hardship both in the UK and around the world.

Last year, thanks to the incredible generosity of our community, we raised £342 for Comic Relief. This year, we’re aiming even higher, with a target of £500. But the impact of this event goes beyond the funds raised. At Acorn Community Bank, events like this reflect what it truly means to be a community focused financial organisation.
