At Acorn Community Bank, we believe in the power of community, and our recent Comic Relief 2025 event proved just that! Thanks to the generosity and kindness of our amazing members and visitors, we’re thrilled to announce that we met and exceeded our fundraising target of £250, by raising a total of £302 in just under 2 hours—every penny of which will go towards supporting those in need.
A day of giving, laughter, and community spirit!
On March 20th, 2025, our headquarters in Swindon turned into a hub of generosity and goodwill. From the moment the event started, we welcomed visitors—both familiar faces and new ones—who stopped by to donate, browse our preloved items, and have a friendly chat over a warm cup of tea and some delicious snacks.
We were particularly touched by the incredible support from members who couldn’t attend in person but still contributed through online donations. Every single donation made a difference, and together, we’ve helped change lives.
