Our partners

Together, we can build financial resilience in our communities.
At Acorn, we believe that strong partnerships with local organisations are key to fostering financial stability and resilience within our communities. Whether you’re looking to invest or collaborate, your support can make a real difference.
You can join us through several partnership opportunities, including corporate membership, Payroll partnerships and Collaboration partnerships. By partnering with us, you’ll help raise awareness, strengthen our shared goals and directly contribute to the financial wellbeing of individuals and families.
We encourage local councils, authorities and companies to invest in our credit union. Just open a Corporate Saver with us. The money invested can provide valuable support to people in our communities. All money invested is protected by FSCS up to £85,000.
Meet our partners
Community larders and food pantries
Our community larder partners play a crucial role in spreading awareness about Acorn. They provide valuable information about our latest savings schemes and assist members through the onboarding process, ensuring that they can access the benefits of joining Acorn with ease as they begin their journey toward financial stability.

Local councils and authorities
We work with councils and authorities across the region to create awareness of our services through roadshows and events. These initiatives allow us to engage with the local community, inform potential members about the benefits of saving with us, and encourage financial inclusion for all.
Working collaboratively together with local tenancy teams and Housing Associations, we can create schemes to support people as they prepare for tenancy, as well as through the lifetime of their tenancy.
Local companies and employers
We run several payroll partnerships in the region, which encourage staff members to save regularly and manage their finances carefully. Creating healthy workplaces and giving employees a reliable financial partner to support them in times of financial difficulty.

Illegal money lending team (IMLT)
We receive funding from IMLT, which supports our small-scale savings initiatives. These programmes are designed to encourage regular savings habits by offering incentives to members, helping them save and build financial stability for the future. This money has been confiscated from illegal loan sharks in our communities.
