Our Junior Saver account is designed for children up to the age of 16 years old. It offers a secure and flexible way for parents, carers, or family members to save for their child’s future. The account allows deposits from £1 to £60,000 and the savings are FSCS-protected. The account does not attract dividend, however bonus in lieu of dividend is paid in to the account when dividend is declared. It’s an excellent opportunity to encourage good saving habits early on.

Terms & Conditions
Only available to children who are family members of an existing member of Acorn Community Bank.
Proof of ID – such as birth certificates and proof of address must be provided.
Flexible and multiple deposits and withdrawals are allowed.
The account will be owned & run by the sponsoring adult until the child reaches 18 years.
Once child turns 18, the trustee will be contacted to proceed further.

Set-up
Core information
Once your junior membership is approved, your Junior Saver (also known as Junior Share 1/ JS1 in online banking) will be automatically opened for you.
Deposit
To make a deposit into Junior SAVER please set up a standing order or make a bank transfer. If your CHB comes directly to us, you can request deductions from there directly via email. Below are the details you will need:
