Only available to members of Acorn Community Bank.
Flexible and multiple deposits and withdrawals allowed.
A member currently having a loan in arrears is not eligible to open a Surplus Saver.
Only one account can be opened per member throughout their membership.
Members will have to build the required savings balance before the deadline to be entered in the prize draw.

Available to all Acorn members 18 years and over.
Account can be opened by completing a form or can be requested in branch / over call / email.
Account can be managed via our online Acorn App.
All savings are protected under the FSCS scheme.
Members who build a savings balance of at least £300 by 15th June 2025 will be automatically entered into our quarterly prize draw for a chance to win £50.
The winner will be announced by the end of June 2025.
Dividend when declared will be paid directly into this account.

To make a deposit into your Surplus Saver, simply set up a standing order or make a bank transfer. If your CHB comes directly to us, you can request deductions from there directly via email. Below are the details you will need:
