Financial services compensation scheme
All accounts benefit from our participation in the Financial Services Compensation Scheme (FSCS).
The FSCS can pay compensation to depositors if a credit union is unable to meet its financial obligations. All depositors with the credit union are covered by the scheme.
This scheme is supported by the England Illegal Money Lending Team (IMLT). The money you receive in bonuses has been recovered from the illegal activities of loan sharks, who create debt misery for many people in our communities. If you would like to find out more about the activities of the team, or if you would like to (anonymously) report a loan shark, please visit their website at Stop Loan Sharks.
